Why Web Studio?

There are several choices when it comes to building a web site. You could use freely-available online tools, but they are often rudimentary, poorly integrated packages that have no support structure. You could pay a website developer, but then you would need them to make every change in the future. You could buy a big brand name software package, but they require extensive knowledge of HTML code to create anything substantial. Web Studio 5.0 alleviates these issues by offering a software package that allows you to easily drag and drop your ideas right onto the page, no code required!

Usually, web authoring software makes some basic assumptions about you, the user. One of these assumptions is that you are very familiar with the HTML programming language. Web Studio doesn’t make that assumption. We allow you to drag and drop almost anything right onto the page without learning something new. You can add pictures, videos, flash, drop down menus, and even premade forms for visitors to fill to out with just a click of the mouse. You can even add content from the web without HTML. YouTube videos, Google Maps, Paypal shopping cart buttons, and slideshows from your Flickr, Picasa, or SmugMug accounts. These are only a few examples of how easy-to-use, and integrated, Web Studio is.

Besides its complete drag-and-drop interface, Web Studio is well received for other features that make life easier on the developer. Starting a web site is simplified through templates. You can even change the colors on the template without an expensive photo editing program. For each site, Web Studio generates an XML sitemap that is helpful in boosting your search engine rankings. These are created and uploaded automatically. You can use Master Pages in Web Studio that allow you to make changes across every page at once. Create a single page and designate it as the site’s Master page, from which other pages inherit content and design. There is even an automatic backup feature that will save your project in two locations at every save, to ensure you never lose your work in a crash.

Something that is often overlooked when buying software is the support structure. Web Studio has a highly illustrated manual that offers step-by-step instructions. There are also high-quality video tutorials for every feature in Web Studio. Any time you’re using Web Studio and see a feature you don’t completely understand, there is a video tutorial link right underneath it that will give a guided tour of its use. Updates to the program are downloaded and installed automatically so you don’t have to worry about being out of date. Best of all, our technical support staff provides personal and responsive service with all of your issues.

Whether you’re a home user starting a site for fun, a business owner looking to go to the next level, or a professional developer looking for a faster way to create and update your sites, Web Studio is the program you’re looking for. We offer a fully functional 30-day trial that you can use to create and upload sites before you purchase, so you can experience the magic of Web Studio firsthand.
