Insert a Table
Insert Text from Word with the Formatting
When you copy/paste or insert a Word file, the formatting is removed and the file comes into a text object with the text, but not the formatting. This article tells you how to insert a Word file that is added to your web page with all of the formatting. This means you can even create a table in Word and put it on your web page.
Create and Save the Word Document
-
Create your document in Word.
-
Click on Save As > Other Formats. This opens the Save dialog. (This screen shot is from Word 2007).

-
Go to the “Save As Type” popup on the bottom of the dialog and find “Web Page, Filtered (*.htm;*.html);

Enter the name for the document and then press Save. Then close the Word document.
Insert the Word Document into Web Studio 5.0
-
Click on Insert tab > Text group > Text From File command. You can also insert text from the Home and Text tabs.

-
Open the file you just saved.
-
The file will be placed on the page with all of the formatting that can be used on the page. Some formatting may be lost.
