Tab order creates a logical order that takes visitors through the form when they hit the tab key. Only the fields you select are included in the tab order. You do not need to include fields that do not request text, such as radio buttons or checkboxes.
Assign the Tab Order
- Hold down the Shift key and select the fields in the order you want the Tab key to follow.
- Click on Forms Tab>Create Form Group>Tab Order. The tab order is automatically applied to the fields.
Check the Tab Order
- Double click on a field. This opens the Object Properties dialog.
- In the Form Object section, look at the Tab Order field to see the assigned tab order.

You cannot change the tab order in this dialog. To change the tab order, select the form fields in the order you want the Tab key to follow and then click on the Tab Order Command again.
